Working Relationships

I will strive to treat my clients with integrity, objectivity, courtesy and respect
I will offer services in the areas in which I am qualified
When unable or unqualified to fulfill requests for services, I will make every effort to recommend the services of other qualified professionals

I will never tell you to dispose of any item
In regards to items in which you are unsure, I will ask open-ended questions to stimulate your view on your belongings, or offer insight as to how types of clutter may be affecting one’s situation
I may also offer options as to what to do with unsure items, such as recycle, donate, re-sell, re-gift, repair or up-cycle. The final decision is always yours
Together, we will work to find creative solutions that will work for you and your family

I will not divulge any personal or business details that I many see in the course of working with you
I will not share your name or identity with others. The only exception would be to to share an example of a method of doing something in a generic manner (without using your name), such as “one family I know does this…” or “I once saw things displayed in this manner…”

I will always take great care when handling your things. However, accidents can happen, and I cannot be held liable for any losses or damages that may occur

Payment is due at the end of every session- cash or check made out to Christine Summerfield
When booking a series of consultations in advance, payment may be made for that total amount in advance
Travel expenses will be added for journeys over 15 miles from my home in Boulder

Both parties have the right to cancel or re-schedule a session due to unforeseen circumstances
As a courtesy, a 48 hour notice is required by either party to cancel or re-schedule
In the event of less than a 48 hour notice (except for sudden illness or accident), I have the right to charge 50% of the agreed fee
